twinkletits asked: I am a huge advocate of 187 kneepads (the big huge ones)! They take a practice or two to get used to because they are so bulky, but they treat your knees reeeeeeal good. They are big, but once I was used to them I didn't lose any speed or anything and the hard caps on the knees are replaceable. I love them.
Thanks so much for your advice! Lucky for me two of my roller sisters bought new pads last week, one TSG and one 187 so I got to try them both on… I ended up going with the TSG, they seemed to fit my legs better. Both felt mega bulky and I’m hoping it doesn’t take long to get used to it! Thanks again x
This is a call out for anyone who has used either the 187’s or the TSG knee-pads…. Or maybe you’ve tried both??? I’ve recently started contact training and I’m finding myself on my knees a whole lot. My current pads (triple 8’s) just aren’t cutting it anymore and my poor little knees are getting battered and bruised. It’s definitely time for an upgrade. I’d love to learn a little from your experience with either of these brands as I am totally confused which way to go… Or maybe the Smiths Scabs??? HELP!
The Bay Rollers virgin bout! Get along to support these ladies if you’re in the area… They’ve been training hard to get themselves to this point… Good luck ladies!!!
